WHAT IS THE 212 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION?

We are an innovative hybrid of an independent arts and culture magazine and photography festival, backed by a photography studio in collaboration with like-minded institutes, platforms and brands. We accept photos from professional and amateur photographers of all ages, all nations and taken on any camera.

 

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS?

Submissions close on April 19, 2019 at 23:59 (+3 GMT).

CAN I ENTER FROM OUTSIDE TURKEY?

Yes. The competition is designed to showcase any photographs. We would love to have submissions from abroad especially from the region!

 

DOES ENTERING THE COMPETITION TRANSFER THE RIGHTS TO MY IMAGE TO ANYONE?

No. We champion the rights of photographers and maintain their rights over their own work. We are granted permission to feature and reproduce your images in our social media and for publicity regarding the Competition. No merchandising will be undertaken without first seeking permission from all parties.

 

CAN I SEEK SPECIAL ASSISTANCE AND HELP WITH MY ENTRIES?

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS TO THE COMPETITION?

No. We accept work from all ages and stages, and from all levels of photographers. Our aim is to find the best new talent.

 

DO I HAVE TO ENTER 10 PHOTOS EACH TIME I ENTER?

No. The submission will still be accepted by our system with as few as 5 image attached. It is in your favor though, to send as many photos as you can.

 

WHEN WILL I GET INFORMED ABOUT MY PROGRESS IN THE COMPETITION?

After getting a confirmation email that your entry has been received to the address you provided. In the event that your photographs have won a prize we shall be in contact with you to the same address after the first and final round of judging has been completed respectively. Please ensure that emails from us do not end up in your Junk folder.

 

WILL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BE KEPT SAFE?

We pride ourselves on our security and secure web build. All the data taken by entrants will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act and any breaches will be reported to those parties that are relevant at the soonest possible time.

 

CAN I RECOMMEND THE COMPETITION TO A PHOTOGRAPHY COMMUNITY?

Yes. We always love hearing from photography community, and your recommendation would be a valuable contribution for both parties. If you have any suggestions do get in contact with us at contact@212photographyfestival.com at any time.

 

CAN I VIEW/EDIT MY ENTRIES AFTER I HAVE MADE THEM?

No. Once a submission is made, it is final. To edit your entry form please email an amended one to contact@212photographyfestival.com along with your entry number.
